Williams has secured continuity in its driver line-up, with both Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon committing to the team for the 2027 season.
Albon was the first to confirm his future, signing a one-year extension that will take him into his sixth season with Williams. He joined the team in 2022 and has become an important part of its rebuilding project.
Sainz followed a day later, agreeing a new multi-year contract after joining Williams from Ferrari at the beginning of 2025. His new deal completes the team's 2027 driver line-up.
The decision gives Williams stability as it continues trying to move back towards the front of the grid.
Both drivers have committed to the project despite Williams experiencing a difficult 2026 campaign. For the team, keeping an experienced pairing together provides continuity as it continues its long-term development.
