1Lap is an independent, fan-built application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Formula 1, the FIA, Formula One Management, or any Formula 1 constructor or driver.
Live session indicators are estimated based on scheduled session start times, and the method used differs by session type.
Practice Sessions: Practice 1, 2, and 3 are treated as live for a fixed window of one hour from the scheduled start time. This is hard-coded and does not account for any interruptions.
Qualifying: Qualifying and Sprint Qualifying are also treated as live for a fixed one-hour window. This does not account for red flags, weather delays, or other stoppages that may extend a qualifying session beyond one hour, so the live indicator may end before the session has actually finished.
Sprint: The Sprint is treated as live for a fixed thirty-minute window from its scheduled start. As with qualifying, this does not account for red flags or other stoppages that may extend the sprint beyond thirty minutes.
Race: The race is treated as live for up to three hours from its scheduled start, matching the FIA's maximum permitted race duration. In practice, the live indicator ends earlier, as soon as official race results have been entered into the app, which may take up to around 10 minutes after the race has finished. The three-hour window exists only as a fallback in case results are delayed.
None of these indicators reflect real-time race control data. Use them as a general guide only.
Race results and championship standings are entered manually during each race weekend from publicly available official sources. There may be a delay between official results being published and the app being updated. Post-race penalties and stewards' decisions may take time to be reflected.
All session times are stored in UTC and converted to your local timezone automatically. Timezone conversion relies on your browser's built-in timezone detection. We are not responsible for errors arising from incorrect timezone data on your device.
Weather information is sourced from Open-Meteo and reflects current conditions at the circuit location. It is not a forecast for race day conditions and should not be relied upon for any purpose beyond general information.
