Pyned Stories
This Privacy Policy describes how 1Lap, operated by Pyned Stories, collects, uses, and shares information when you use our web application.
We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information. If you consent to analytics (see Section 3 below), certain information is collected automatically through Google Analytics: device type, browser type, sections visited, time spent, general geographic region (derived from your browser's timezone or IP-based approximation), and in-app interactions such as which markers, standings, or features you use. This information is not linked to your name, email, or any other directly identifying detail we hold, since we do not collect those in the first place.
Information collected is used to understand how users interact with the application, improve the experience, and monitor performance. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share analytics data with any party other than Google (as our analytics provider).
Separately from Google Analytics, 1Lap also records anonymous, aggregate usage counts, such as how many times the app is opened per day, and how often features like standings, articles, circuit pages, and promotions are viewed. These counts help us understand what's popular in the app.
This counting does not use the consent choice described in Section 4, does not identify you individually, and is not linked to your name, IP address, or any other personal detail. It stores a small marker on your device (using your browser's local storage) solely to avoid counting the same visit more than once; no other information is stored alongside it.
When you first visit 1Lap, you are shown a banner asking whether you consent to analytics tracking. Google Analytics does not collect any data about you until you actively choose "Accept." If you choose "Decline," no analytics data is collected for your visit, and your choice is remembered on this device so you are not asked again.
You can change your choice at any time via Menu → Legal → Privacy Settings, which reopens the consent banner. This choice applies only to Google Analytics, and does not affect the aggregate usage counts described in Section 3.
Where consent has been given, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics. You can also opt out at the browser level by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, in addition to declining consent in-app.
Analytics data collected via Google Analytics is retained for up to 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted from Google's systems in accordance with our configured retention settings.
Where you have consented to analytics, data is processed by Google, which may transfer and process data outside of your country of residence, including in the United States. Google provides contractual safeguards for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable, as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to: access information collected about you; request correction or deletion of that information; object to or restrict its processing; and withdraw consent at any time (see Section 4). Since we do not collect personally identifying information directly, most of these rights are exercised through your consent choice in-app, or through Google's own privacy tools linked above. For any other request, you can contact us using the details in Section 12.

This application is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
